The Burlington Hotel is situated on the south side of Dublin City Centre, in the leafy suburb of Ballsbridge. We’re right in the heart of Georgian Dublin, only a few minutes from the Grand Canal and a ten-minute stroll from Grafton Street, St Stephen’s Green and Trinity College.
The suburb of Ballsbridge is named for the bridge spanning the river Dodder. The original bridge over the river was built and owned by a Mr Ball and a sign over the current structure still identifies it as ‘Ball’s Bridge’.
As well as being known as Dublin’s Embassy belt, Ballsbridge is home to the RDS, the Aviva stadium and many bars and restaurants; not least our own Sussex Restaurant and Bellini’s Bar.
Our proximity to the Dublin Convention Centre, IFSC, Croke Park, O2 Arena, RDS, Leinster Rugby Grounds and new Lansdowne / Aviva stadium makes the Burlington Hotel a versatile location and ideal base for both business and leisure guests.
